Cooking something up

The girls activity was to learn how to read a recipe and start their own collection of them.  They had a lot of fun looking through the books to write down which ones they will try.  I hope the girls will get a chance to make one of them soon for their mothers!

Learning the importance and meaning of Christmas

The girls played a fun game where they all had to wear gloves and try to unwrap a present.  Inside of the present, was what the lesson would be on- a Christmas Tree (button necklace).

We had a wonderful lesson about how a Christmas Tree that we all know and love symbolizes Jesus Christ and the Atonement.  After the lesson, the girls made Christmas Tree button necklaces or ornaments.  It was such a wonderful activity, that I think all ages enjoyed it (I know I did)!

Making Frames

Today's activity was to make frames for our photos we took at the temple.  It was a lot of fun to see the creative sides of the girls come out.  Here are their masterpieces.  Enjoy!
